Case Study IDM - This track record display may be one of the most successful campaigns in our firm’s history. Photography by Tony Caputo in a beautiful studio effort with very difficult lighting on the tea set. This really got IDM off the ground with the broker/dealer community. The campaign was designed to present the track record and to request brokers to attend seminars around an “afternoon tea” event twice a week.
Case Study Hemisphere International - A European graphic designer with the Sponsor worked with us on this unusual concept to depict exotic oil secondary recovery techniques that this R&D limited partnership funded. This was one of the last research and development tax shelters before the Tax Reform Act of 1986 and the current expensing for R&D activities by companies.
Case Study Rothschild Registry- Probably the most expensive brochure on a per item basis that we have ever produced. The computer leasing program was designed to be marketed to big ticket doctor investors for the most part. The client wanted six colors plus PMS plus varnish with velum sheet inserts and a whole bunch of printing extras. We worked on three years of tax shelter brochures for Rothschild with similar themes. Based on these presentations and a beautiful exhibit booth that simulated a manor house den, Roshschild dominated the market for this type of product.
Case Study Carlsberg Management- The corporate brochure illustrates the peaks and valleys of real estate cycles. We used an in-studio model on a racing bike and in racing gear and super-imposed the shots on scenic photographs by Larry Lee to illustrate the ups and downs of the real estate terrain over the years. We like to take unrelated concepts and link them to a theme to differentiate our clients from what can tend to be a commodity marketplace. The brochure was used in conjunction with two successful asset-back note offerings.

A Legacy of Innovation

Our Six Waves of Growth

Technology Expansion
Moving into the future we are creating awareness with SEO, Social Media, Newsletters, Email Campaings and internally driven communications to a large investor base. We have dramatically increased our presence and reach.
Sixth Wave
2024-Present
Expanding Our Influence
In 2011, Greg McAndrews opened our Alexandria, VA office, strengthening our presence with regulators in Washington, D.C., and New York. This strategic move positioned us to better advocate for small securities offerings and market reforms. Today, our headquarters remains in Alexandria, with representation in New York and Los Angeles.
Fifth Wave
(2011-2024)
Micro-Cap Resurgence
As FINRA reformed the Pink Sheet and Bulletin Board markets, micro-cap firms re-emerged. By 2008, we had reestablished our presence in this sector while continuing to support real estate securities clients.
Fourth Wave
(2008-2011)
Pioneering 1031 Exchanges
By 1997, our real estate securities clients capitalized on tax-deferred 1031 exchanges. We became the leading PR firm in this sector, leveraging relationships from our tax-shelter days. However, when the mortgage crisis hit, many of these clients pivoted, requiring diversification strategies
Third Wave
(1997-2008)
Dominating Tax-Advantaged Investments
From 1978 to 1986, we became the nation's leading PR firm for tax-sheltered investment sponsors—until the Tax Reform Act of 1986 reshaped the landscape. We continued to serve real estate, oil & gas, and R&D clients, though on a reduced scale.
Second Wave
(1978-1986)

Laying the Foundation
John De Nigris Associates (the first public relations firm to have an IPO) hired Greg McAndrews from Control Data in December 1972. The Dow Jones Industrial Average peaked at 1,000 in early 1973, only to decline for nearly a decade. Despite market challenges, the firm retained key clients and expanded into the emerging computer industry
